Who am I ?
A schoolboy’s heart and a novelist’s eye.
Born in South London at a time when the world was rationed and grey, only magazines were sepia. Televisions had 9-inch screens set in 4-foot wide wardrobes and Sylvia Peters read the news in a ball gown.

Dragged through Brewery Road Junior Mixed and shoved on to the 50 boys per class Onion Street Technical School with its alarmingly disinterested staff, leaving at 15 with a GCE in plumbing.
Entered the wonderful world of advertising and developed “The Knack” of doing it all the easy way; art direction, copywriting, TV production, typography and photography. Left St. Martin’s School of Art top of the year but forgot to pick up the certificates on the way out.
Arrived in Switzerland at 22. Worked on ads, TV commercials, travel expenses and secretaries.
Freelance Creative Consultant since 1986.
Welcome to this new and unique blog which I will endeavour to up-date at least twice a week.
